Benimaclet is Valencia’s student neighbourhood. This lively area is a great place to get a cheap drink in the evenings or weekends. The youth, rawness and multiculturality of the neighbourhood are palpable everywhere. Benimaclet, with its Moorish architectural influences, was annexed to Valencia at a later date and as such has kept most of its charm. Plaza de Benimaclet is the meeting point for the locals and the location of various artistic festivals in the summer.
